My husband loves Elvis and Speed Racer...That always makes me laugh. I love so many things it is hard to nail down favorites, but I'll try a few...I love old musicals like the Sound of Music and Marry Poppins. I always loved The Partridge Family, Bugs Bunny, the Little Rascals, and Johnny Carson. My favorite game shows were The Dating Game and The Newlywed game. I miss yodels and ring dings individually wrapped in aluminum foil.

A chocolate malted that was so thick that a pretzel stood up staight.Loose candy that was sold by the peice. Those were the days.

My best times are when I drive in my car and listen to all my oldies but goodies, such as Dean Martin, Jerry Vale, Al Martino and my all time favorite Barbra Steisand. Its a great way to start your day! Happy

Unfortunately, my grandchildren do share my love for the oldies.

A bag of Cracker Jacks and a cup of Starbuck's coffee is -- for me -- the ideal blending of old and new. A sugar rush and caffiene high.

When I taught traffic school I found that Sinatra and big band CDs played at the beginning of class had a wonderful calming effect on even the younger teenage students. Some of them even knew who Billie Holiday was!

By the way, if you want a tearful moment, read the Wikipedia bio of Billie Holiday.
