I've enjoyed all your blogs, particularly the personal ones, as we have similar interests in sports, travel and Boston. I suppose it's those similar interests which compel someone to respond to them. You are a very good writer, and have a wonderful personal, friendly style. I applaud your efforts!

Merrill -- I love your blog because it is so real and personal whether you are talking about professional, political, personal, .......etc. issues. It is like hearing from a friend with whom you have a lot in common. I look forward to that email on Mon/Wed/Fri letting me a new one has been posted. (Actually, I always have to check my spam because the email typically goes into "that file.") I get concerned if I don't see it. I read every one. I reply when I have time immediately or shortly after reading it (and of course, if I have an opinion). If too much time elapses, I get caught up in other things even though I might intend on replying.

Keep it up. It is certainly something that brightens up my day! I have enjoyed every topic. It is fantastic. And congratulations ...on #100 ... please, please keep it going!

Merrill,
Congratulations on the milestone! As a wise person once taught me, repetition is recognition. Keep doing what you do!

Pics will be coming your way later today.

Peace!

Merill, the ones I love the most are the more personal ones - who has impacted your life and why and how your family is opening your eyes to new possibilites. I enjoy your blogs since they are written on a more "talkative" style rather than lecturing or just informative. They make you want to read to find out what is happening - "kind o like talking directly wth you!" Thanks for the smiles and the bits of knowledge along the way. Naomi Walters, AMA

Congratulations, Merrill, on the reaching this milepost.

To respond to some of your questions: my favorites are when you reflect on your personal experiences and observations related to our industry, the challenges of leading M/A/R/C, etc. Recent favorites include "Attention Researchers," "Attention MRA Members," and "Attention VPs..." and "Four Favorite Words."

What makes me post a comment? Obligation to let you know I appreciate what you've shared, or something you wrote strikes a chord.

Why haven't I posted a comment (I think I've post twice) - because I'm usually reading at work and don't want to take the time to compose a reply. I figure I'll just share my comments next time I see you, which doesn't happen often, though.
