All of your comments are dead-on. Bill is great guy, who I always look forward to seeing at industry events. His passion is contagious, so his presence at MR events is key to growing passion for the industry.

Looking forward to seeing him again soon! Perhaps the poker room in Vegas for the upcoming AMA Research conference!?!

Merrill, what a great interview of a great guy. I can literally hear Bill's deep voice and his no-nonsense style in his response to your interview questions. I'm privileged to know Bill through our mutual involvement in AMA over the past 20+ years. He's passionate about professional development in both marketing research and marketing management. And then there's his passion for his family. Just ask him about his children & his grandchildren ...

Did anyone say that Mega-Guy Bill Neal is just a down right nice guy? He has time for all his MR colleagues no matter what their role or background. Thanks Merrill for showing more about Bill than I knew. Even though he appeared in the MRA's Oral History Project recently, there is just too much to Bill to cover easily, but you did a good job.

One of Bill's best attributes is that he is a true gentleman. He treats everyone with respect like they have something valuable to contribute, including even the novices who are newcomers to our industry. In spite of all of the honors he has received, he has retained humility. The best word to describe Bill is "friend".
