I am stting right up against the stage and the skits are all rehearsed and never once did they involve the audience except one time. All 6 memebers of the cast are on stage and they freeze, stare at me, and ask me in unison, "What is your name?" Simple enough you may think. So what do I say? "Francois!" Francois? WHAT THE HELL WAS I DRINKING? P.S. The audience thought it was hysterical and I got quite an ovation. I went to UMASS during the Dr J era and saw him on campus a few times, he was even in my Botany lecture hall. I went to the show wearing my UMASS Alumni shirt and brought along a Dr J Starting Lineup for him to sign. I waited on line patiently thinking about how I was going to say "Hi Julius, we were in Dr Shaprio's lecture class together..." and other various UMASS-related things ("Remember the Drake?"). There was a man with a little boy in front of me. After he signed their memorabilia, I stepped up with a smile on my face and promptly froze. It was all I could do to say "Please sign here." The little boy came back and said to the Dr. "I just want to shake your hand." Silently and nervously, I extended my hand, too. The Dr. said "Thanks for coming." I nodded and walked off.
