Yes I am getting older. With each day, week and month that passes I do get a little older and perhaps – who knows? Maybe I’m even slowing down a bit. Regardless of that I say it’s never too late to do something that you wanted to do. It is NEVER too late to experience something that you want to experience.
You want to:
- Learn how to ski
- Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro
- Travel to Australia
- Participate in a triathlon
- Run a 5k road race
- Write a book
I say do it, and do it now! Come out with a plan and make it happen. Remember you only go around once, so make it the best it can possibly be and experience everything that you want to experience.
Okay. With that said.
- What are you going to try and experience in the next year?
- Where have you always dreamed of going but for some reason keep putting it off?
I look forward to reading your comments.

Ha, ha Merrill,
You did something similar and I learned how to row and bought my first investment property in 2009, as a result of it. THANKS!
I did not fly, which I think I said I was going to do. The weather was a factor and finishing my MBA seemed more important!
I will take the flying lesson and I will buy into a, multi-unit, building, as my new things to try. Also going to buy a motorcycle in 2010, but that’s not different, only a rejuvenation!
All the best,
Fee

Merrill,
How right you are! It’s never too late to try something new, but as I get older, I find myself much more fearful of some new activities. For example, when I was a kid, I had no fear of climbing up an 8 foot half-pipe to drop in on a skateboard over and over again despite having broken several bones doing just that. With my lack of coordination and healthy fear, I doubt I’ll be learning to ski or parasail in 2010.
However, this upcoming year, my something new will be travel. I’m planning on taking my first real vacation away from G3 Translate and heading on a honeymoon with my husband to Australia. Big steps for a girl who is terrified of flying and even more terrified of missing even one work email!
Best regards,
Nancy

I’m learning to play the piano! I was a voice major in college and I’ve always wanted to be able to play the piano and sing at the same time.
