I have been using Google for a very long time. I do like the search feature and frankly never thought of using anything else . . . until now. For several years now, my home page has been Excite. In the upper left-hand corner both Google and Bing appear and I must admit after seeing Bing there for a while, and after a few friends recommend it I am using Bing a little bit. While I do find some of the searches more robust and on target I don’t use Bing all the time. I do find myself out of habit using old reliable Google.
- What do you use?
- Have you tried Bing?
- What differences do you notice?
- Do you use Google for some things and Bing for others?
I look forward to reading your comments.

I do a lot of internet search work as part of my job and 90% is still through Google. I am trying to use Bing more often and I compare the two frequently.
I still find Google to be more precise, however, when they’re close, I really like the Bing feature that displays more information on a listing to the right so I don’t have to actually open up the link in Google.
Occasionally they each give off completely different results and I wonder which search engine Microsoft is relying on or how they built Bing. Google always seems more relaible.

The timing of this question is interesting…I’m a Google addict but this morning I tried Bing to do image search for a presentation I’m working on. I loved the narrowing tool in the left nav and the scroll feature.
For image searches I’m now a Bing user!

Since I’m a fan of Yahoo, and they collaborated with Microsoft on Bing, I’ve begun using Bing instead of Google. I have had to revert back to Google on occasion when Bing didn’t produce adequate results.
