As 2009 comes to a close and 2010 starts I took a few minutes to reflect back and think about the year that passed. During that process I started to think about what I was really proud of in 2009 and here are a few of those things:
I am very proud:
- Of the M/A/R/C Research team and that we were able to make more money in 2009 than 2008 during a difficult economic time
- That I continued to grow as a person and improve areas that needed some attention
- That I continue to have meaningful friendships
- That I was able to be a resource to industry contacts and help them during this difficult time
- That I continued to work out consistently
That is a few things that made my list.
As 2010 starts what are you most proud of from 2009?
I look forward to reading your comments.

I am proud of the Schlesinger staff (especially Rachel, Erin, and Brenda) for holding down the fort while i was on maternity leave! Knowing they were in charge while i was away made the stress melt away.
I am also proud of becoming a mother. The thought of it scared the hell out of me and still does, but i am glad i put aside my fears and made the leap.
I am proud that the Orlando office completed more projects in 2009 than 2009! We are really making waves in Florida!

There’s so much I could say about 2009 and what I was able to achieve. To keep it simple, I’m proud of:
my son, born March 28th, 2009
my wife for being the most amazing mother
starting my own business, which allows me to give back in many ways
myself for focusing on my health in a way which is life changing
the fact that I have been able to give back through mentoring
my mother for staying so strong as she battles cancer
my family for coming together to support my mother in many ways
