Attention Baseball Fans: Time To Fill In The Blanks.

Nomar Garciaparra

As you know, I love baseball. Over the past decade there has been so much movement with players, it is sometimes challenging to keep up with the player and their new team. Some of those changes worked out and some didn’t. Some players never should have taken the money and switched teams and they would have been better off and perhaps happier if they had stayed where they were. Remember the grass isn’t always greener somewhere else.

Here are a few examples of what I am talking about:

Nomar never should have left the Redsox. Yes he was traded, but really forced the Redsox to do so. He was amazing in Boston and could have been incredible for many years if he had taken the Redsox offer–which as I recall was fair at 60 million for 4 years.

Manny Ramirez never should have left the Indians. Manny had great numbers in Boston and has done ok in LA but how happy is he? In Cleveland he had great stats and was in a small market where the media isn’t in your face 24/7. I have a feeling (just my opinion) he loved it there and wish he stayed and oh by the way–the Indians offered almost as much money as the Redsox.

Now your turn. Who makes your list?

Please fill in the blanks.

_______  should have never left the __________?

I look forward to reading your comments.
