Title: Insights & Strategy Director
Salary: Commensurate with Experience

What You Will Do

As an ISM Director you are a partner to the Account Manager in establishing and building our Client Relationships. You are expected to consistently deliver quality outcomes that demonstrate a holistic understanding of the Clients' business, industry and information needs.

Your focus will be the delivery of insight-based solutions that drive Client Business Success.

You will lead cross-functional project teams to ensure we provide clients the consulting and vision to achieve their objectives, and that teams have the necessary guidance and strategic leadership. Lead by example to motivate and grow team members and consistently provide clear feedback to raise performance and motivate.

Requirements
  • Well-versed and experienced in designing and conducting a broad array of quantitative and qualitative approaches.
  • Consistently demonstrates the ability to balance both the micro (project details) and macro (understanding how all aspects of the engagement are interrelated, and how they ladder up to client objectives).
  • Consistently deliver analyses, insights, and actionable recommendations that create a clear narrative with meaningful impact for the client.
  • Demonstrates ownership of the progress and integrity of the entire project.
  • Know when and where it is necessary to get involved in any aspect of the day-to-day work to support the team and maintain progress.
  • Have demonstrated strong leadership skills.
  • Strong track record as a motivator and mentor of talent.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Meaningfully contribute to or lead client meetings and presentations.
  • Extremely strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
  • Typically, you will need 7-8+ years of relevant experience to meet the requirements for this role.

You will be part of a cross-functional project team (with guidance as needed from the AM or more senior ISM) that ensures we provide clients the consulting and vision to achieve their objectives

Requirements
  • Have a fundamental understanding of designing and conducting a broad array of quantitative and qualitative approaches and continue to show progress toward mastery.
  • Consistently demonstrates the ability to balance both the micro (project details) and macro (understanding how all aspects of the engagement are interrelated, and how they ladder up to client objectives).

Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for selling and growing revenues with existing clients. Strong grasp of client's business and research objectives, as well as, the appropriate methodologies to address them.

Responsibilities
  • Growing and maintaining client relationships (day-to-day contact/consultant)
  • Identifying client needs and appropriate research methodologies to address these needs
  • Broad range of experience across methodologies and solutions
  • Strong track record of creating winning proposals
  • Lead account team in project design, execution and delivery of results
  • Writing/presenting research insights
  • Ensuring client deliverables meet research objectives and deliver value-added insights into business impact

Skills
  • Minimum of 5+ years in Research Account Management
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Master's degree a plus
  • Strong research fundamentals including ability to recommend alternative research designs, understand statistical output and analyze results through delivery of implications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid negotiation and client development skills
  • Assertive client development mind set - must be comfortable with a sales goal
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good team player/builder/leader, ability to mentor and coach others

Title: New Business Developer
Salary: Commensurate with Experience

Job Description

The Business Development position will be filled by someone who is willing to assume responsibility for identifying business opportunities in both prospective and existing accounts, and managing the sales cycle to a successful conclusion. This person will serve as a key contributor to the overall growth of the firm.

Responsibilities
  • Growth of the business through acquisition of new clients
  • Activities include prospect generation, needs identification, qualifying the opportunity and engaging the appropriate subject matter experts to close the sale.
  • Responsible for a high level of management and account planning.
  • Working in a collaborative way with both Account Managers and Methods Consultants.
  • Becoming the Client Advocate.

Skills
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a marketing services environment, selling custom marketing research.
  • Documented sales successes crossing a mix of product and service categories.
  • An ability to associate marketing issues with appropriate research solutions.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Evidenced team building skills, and a willingness to work with any and all resources to achieve success.
  • An undergraduate degree in business or a related field, with an advanced degree a plus.
  • A solid understanding of marketing principles and practices.
  • In-depth understanding of research methodologies a plus.

Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary commensurate with skills and experience, along with an incentive bonus program based on personal performance. An attractive, comprehensive benefits package including health and welfare benefits and a company matching 401(k) plan. This position is available in Dallas, TX, Greensboro, NC, California, Chicago, New York or any other major metro area.
